PAX Items

A few new announcements regarding our big thing:

  • If you are planning to pre-register, you might want to do it before the 10th - that’s when we’ll be selecting the contestants for the Omegathon.  The Omega Collection continues to plump up, it’s easily at around 20k at this point.

  • Over in the Exhibition Hall and the tabletop room, expect to see Privateer Press, of Warmachine/Iron Kingdoms fame.  Many readers wrote in asking if Warmachine specifically would have a presence, and now you know.  Interest in the Tabletop Arts has grown continuously since PAX was announced, so we’ve expanded that room yet again.

  • Brady Games will be there as well, free guides in tow.

  • Expect to see nVidia in the exhibition hall, I’ll try to get a list of what they’ll be showing there.
    •  

  • Microsoft is showing a whole bunch of stuff at PAX this year, and all of it is 100% playable.  Mechassault 2 will be there, Forza (in all of its four monitor glory), and Halo 2 will be there and playable Sunday only.  This isn’t even all of the stuff they’re bringing.
