SAND was one of the very first comic books Tycho and I ever created. It was about eight or nine years ago that we came up with the concept. We even made a little black and white comic book that we printed ourselves at Kinkos. When we were asked to do something for an upcoming volume of "Flight" we thought it might be fun to dust of SAND and give it another shot. We'll see what happens.
