Dear Trolls is still the authority on reactions to crappy reader comments
So what's it like to deal with the comment threads on your own site? Dear Trolls is probably the easiest way to get a sense for the behind the scenes conversations that happen when people post off-color, goofy, or just plain mean stuff in the comments.
The site is a collection of .gif reactions to these shitty comments, and sometimes the occasional nice one, and it's way too much fun to go through page after page of the damned things. The comments come from Joystiq, I believe it's only one writer over there keeping this going, but it's hard to know for sure.
Still, the amount of work that goes into keeping the site up to date has to be... well, okay. It probably doesn't take a ton of work. Still, the site remains the authority on sarcastic reactions to often ridiculous feedback, and I love that about it.
