Dragon Age 3: Inquisition coming Fall of 2014 to next-generation platforms
At their E3 2013 press conference today, EA showed off a brand new look at Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and revealed the new release window, which is now somewhere in Fall 2014 and will likely land on next-generation consoles.
The new trailer shown on stage showcased a dark aesthetic for the game, which itself seems exceedingly bleak with an open world torn apart by war. It begins with a fiery battlefield strewn with dead before flashing to a city besieged with explosions with monsters and dragons streaming from the sky.
EA promised that the choices of the game would allow you to shape not only the story, but the world itself, although that point was not elaborated on. They also said the game would feature a mixed cast of both new and returning characters, including fan-favorite Morrigan who appeared toward the trailer's end.
