We've been getting back into streaming stuff, or Twitching, or simply twitching while we stream because of the black flakes and other impurities drifting in our house-made toilet liquor. There is an archive of these spasms (presumably for law enforcement use) and if you poke around the one for Alien: Isolation you might hear some of the lines in podcast can.
As darkness encroaches and co-opted pagan holidays draw ever closer, the 2014 Child's Play Dinner & Auction is go - tickets are now available. Gorbiriel and myself are hosting this year, so I need to take my raiment in and have it purified at some point prior to "literally the day before." I am not an effective person under the most ordinary conditions, and for some reason the rigors of pretending to be an adult for the duration of this particular event redlines my stunted faculties.
I must also direct Australians and Unnamed Others to the PAX Australia Site, where (as you can tell from the increasingly alarming color choices) tickets are in increasingly short supply. I'm pretty excited; most of my conversations last time I was there concerned whether or not we planned to return, which was never really in question. It was only a matter of where, and we found a good place. It's a part of Melbourne I know well enough to give someone walking directions. As is generally understood, I take actual medicine to remind my brain that I'm not being actively chased by jaguars. There are some values of stress they can't counter, though, and I needed to do a lot of walking down there. Crossing over a bridge near the new "centre" at night was when I realized I was probably going to be okay.
