There was a period of time where they were just putting Star Wars on shit. Games Workshop used to do that too, with their license. There was some filth. But they've both figured out that - and I'll agree it's a little crazy - if you give the licenses to cool people who make good games it's a better play. In the same way that ex-Firaxis people proved that Star Wars XCOM could be much more than the sum of its parts, ex-Criterion people are making some kind of Goddamn roguelite racing game and it looks fucking sick.
The compulsion to make a Masters of Teräs Käsi reference is very strong - strong like the Force. I'm not sure that was ever advisable. But now I'm like, who knows. I bet Radiant Entertainment probably coulda done it, and done it well. Now I just want to test all the thresholds. I understand that Dressmaking is a burgeoning genre.
I was in Oregon once with Mork, down on the beach for the Fourth of July, and we had tried to get fireworks but had been unsuccessful for some reason. If we had gotten fireworks, I probably wouldn't even remember this situation. As Brenna, Kara, and I were lamenting the fact that there were no bright sorceries to behold, Mark got behind a very large piece of driftwood and began waving his hands behind it. He was waving his hands and saying "Gah! Gah Gah GAH! BOOM!" and it was way more effective than you might guess. I honestly bet we could have a lot of fun in this. He's bummed about wheel support, having invested so substantially in, you know… wheels, I guess. I need them twin rods. Fear not; that link is S for W but I can understand why there might be a question.
(CW)TB out.
