I started playing Star Wars Outlaws when it came out last year on the PS5 and I really liked it. Eventually other games came out though and I didn’t end up finishing Outlaws. Well I heard the Switch 2 version was excellent and I honestly had a hard time believing that so I decided to grab it and check it out for myself. It supports cross save so I was able to pick up right where I left off on the Playstation. I was expecting to load it up, be disappointed in how it ran and call it a day but it was so good I ended up playing another 10 hours and beat the damn game.
I don’t know how they did it but Star Wars Outlaws on the Switch 2 looks and runs incredible and this is coming from someone who had been playing it on a PS5 Pro. Sitting on the couch watching TV and playing this game in handheld mode is a treat and a great way to relax and clear a bunch of map objectives or just fucking play Sabacc.
After about 30 hours I rolled the credits on Star Wars Outlaws last night and I loved it! Great Story and characters. Still lots to do and explore so I'm not done yet. Started on the PS5 but wrapped it up on the Switch 2 thanks to cross save. Just a beautiful game.

I rolled the credits and discovered a bunch of DLC that came with the Switch version I purchased including a whole new adventure with Lando Calrissian! I’ve also still got tons of side missions to complete but I gotta say the main storyline is really well done and some of the best Star Wars content I’ve seen in years.
There was a ridiculous amount of unwarranted hate directed at Star Wars Outlaws when it came out. There are a lot of influencers out there in our space who like being famous more than they like video games and it fucking shows. They had a lot of stupid reasons to avoid Outlaws and none of them had anything to do with the actual game. I’d encourage anyone who was on the fence to check it out, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan.
