What we discovered when creating this strip is that people have NSA stalker tier levels of knowledge about these mice. It sounds like Gabe has some serious competition in this arena and should - until further notice - make his enemies start his jeep. Just until things cool down.
I've been checking some stuff out:
In 007 First Light, what I think is being perceived as the ravages of the woke mind virus - a term which has become a vocal stim - is actually flirting. Go ahead and sit with that for a minute. I'm just about done with the game, but I compared notes with famous Bond game finisher Gorbiriel LaGrange regarding my theory about how things go and it's all there. I don't think it's meant to be taken in the way it's being perceived at all; I think it's meant to be the first act of the Hero's Journey - not euphemistically, literally. Check the beats - the last one in the Campbell interpretation is pretty Goddamn on the nose. They are setting up the second "movie." If it's any comfort to the game's detractors, a ton of women will die as the series continues. Shedloads. Bond Girls tend to have a fairly low life expectancy, generally.
Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is absolutely, one hundred percent not done. I think getting in at this point is optional - you get in now to support the devs or if your curiosity gets the best of you. A history lesson, though: DRG spent a couple years in Early Access as I recall. Then, they perfected an ongoing level of support rivalled only by award-winning service top Hello Games now in year thirty of their "No Man's Sky Apology Tour." As a game, Deep Rock Galactic - whose concepts have been continually polished since 2018 - is something Rogue Core absolutely cannot contend with. It's also in a completely different genre with different goals that came out a couple weeks ago. My expectation is that they do get there, and if the notes for Update One are any indication, they're spending what might be an unhealthy amount of time in the forums.
(CW)TB out.
