We wrapped up an old Iron Kingdoms adventure after a lull of several months, and getting around a table only stoked a fire that was already threatening the roof. It is approaching obsession levels very quickly, surprising in its ferocity. Sleep is no refuge; some unconscious process is always at work, sharpening my knives.
Holiday Deals!
We have a few special deals going on in our store that I wanted to share with you all.
The Conflux, Part Two
I like to roleplay, but the full graph this data resides in is three dimensional and denotes a wealth of additional data. For example, I like roleplaying more than I like being chased through the savannah by a leopard, but just barely. What I like is doing worldbuilding, creating characters, and writing dialogue, which are all things you can do from that side of the table but aren't necessarily your place. The BDSM term is, I think, "Topping From The Bottom."
The Conflux, Part One
Gabriel put his Dungeons & Dragons campaign on hiatus almost a year ago, which happens, and is more often than not a euphemistic device for "never playing again." He wants to fight that common arc tooth and nail, and I've committed my entire mind to his holy task.
Absolute, Very Last Day For Signed Season 2 Preorders
A production timeline wiggled, so we've had a couple more days to offer the... well, offer, I guess it would be, but tonight is super duper it for a signed copy. Remember, the packages are:
Zelda page 2
The second page of our Zelda: Skyward Sword comic is now live over on Nintendo’s site.
Live Drawing
I'll start drawing Wednesday's comic live on Ustream in just a few minutes.
A new painting
In case you can’t tell I’ve been a little bit obsessed with Zelda recently. I’m about 50 hours into Skyward sword and I think I’m pretty near the end. I’ve also been working on the Zelda comic that we announced last week. The second page of that will go up tomorrow by the way. One of the things I did when I first started the Zelda comic was to get a little sketchbook just for the project. So I’ve been doodling and making little water color paintings in it for a couple of months now. One of the sketches I did I actually really liked and when I looked at it I felt like it should be a painting.
PATV Season 2 DVD
Penny Arcade TV season 3 kicked off last week and hopefully you checked out the first episode. Meanwhile the PATV season 2 DVD is now available for pre-order. Originally we had set Sunday as the final day for ordering your special signed copy but we've pushed that out a couple of days. So now you have until tomorrow Tuesday Nov, 22 at midnight to pre-order a copy of the Season 2 DVD. We will be signing all the pre-orders so hit the store and grab yours today.
Trufax
We've already explained in absolute terms why you might find the occasional rupee spirited away. I found a Link inside a Wind Waker gashapon that I ostensibly got for my son, and the figure included a little rupee inside the egg, and they're just as desirable in real life. I took it. Oh, don't look at me like that. He has no idea what it is.
Tycho Brahe: An Art Retrospective
As promised:
Just A Few More Days On Season 2 DVD Preorders
We - we as in "everybody at Penny Arcade" - will sign any sets purchased in the next few days! What kind of sets? I'm so glad you asked.
Jonathan Gabriel: An Art Retrospective
Remember, Remember
I didn't know about Movember, or the extent to which one could movemb. I'd seen the power of human facial hair to create charity wealth through our local 826 chapter, but the practice has apparently become much more codified since then. Movember is a "hairity" drive to focus awareness squarely on a man's most harrowed, gruesome, and unspeakable realms.
10,000 Star Wars: The Old Republic Codes (Update: Gone)
Apparently there is a terrible hunger for these codes! Sorry, they all got eaten up. I suspect you'll enjoy it quite a bit; I know we did.
Mitigated
As suggested previously, Super Mario Land 3D is a game you can own for your 3DS. What's novel about it, supremely novel, is that you will actually want to.
