As suggested by my opposite and my equal, Hearthstone is still spreading from the site of the infection. We have encountered several cards over the course of the last week or so that are probably due for a quick bake in the Nerf Furnace. Secret Cards in general, I mean literally as a mechanic, make me so mad it almost boils the eyes out of my face.
Gabriel has a very specific problem that few people do, which is that people will often kill him with cards he did the art for. Art he made years and years ago, art he now hates, each use of which is like the sting of the lash. Fans of the old World of Warcraft TCG might recognize a bunch of the art, actually. But this specific, searing ignominy (I'm thinking particularly of Kill Command) is largely his alone.
At a certain threshold in Ranked, I stop seeing Rogues and Druids. I've been trying to figure this out. The "Meta" is a market, right? Rank maps to value. It's trying to tell me something about the character I chose, but it's like I don't want to hear it. I disenchant cards for all but three classes, and I'm wondering if it's not time to try another deck. No Hunters, though. Just on principle.
Our creative process is fairly transparent, in that it's often recorded and you can just watch it, or listen to it, and we tour the globe in a facsimile of our normal mode, but we had an "interaction" this weekend over panel one - "Healon Drah," which he executed flawlessly - that I thought you might find interesting.

Fucking these are so exquisite. I can't believe Healon Drah. But we should make her power just straight card text and not a battle cry, right?

if it is battlecry it happens as soon as she is played. if it is just text she could be silenced after coming out. I am not sure it matters.

Battle cries happen when they drop, so they can't proc off heal or draw. Right...? You are better at this than me. I just want it to be perfect.

I imagined it was a battle cry that initiated a constant ongoing effect. Whenever you would heal or draw from that point on. That is how I read it.

I am Certain that battlecries are one time effects. Tell me what I must do to have it changed! Gold, jewels!

yes but in this case it is a one time effect that creates this ongoing effect. It happens as soon as the card is played and from now on whenever you would heal or draw you etc. If it is just card text that to me implies the minion could simply be silenced to end the effect. This is a made up card that does not make any sense and does not fit in with their rules. but that is the way the text reads to me.

I remember it being very important at the time.
