I don't really know anything about Moon Knight, except that he looks cool; the main thing you gotta know is that if Star Wars is your only sample of Oscar Isaac you're about to learn that he fuckin' kicks ass. See Ex Machina if you haven't. Or, see the first episode of Moon Knight, which will make you long for a second episode of Moon Knight that does not yet exist.
It pushes a bunch of my very specific buttons, even verging into some Cosmic Horror, so if you fall measurably on the Tycho Scale Of Popular Culture Consumption come get it. Gabe also likes it, and indeed pushed me into it, and now I'm here to stay. He did experience some "troubling" side effects, but don't worry - the word troubling is nestled safely in quotes.
The sponsored stream we did last friday for Dead by Daylight ended up being a blast, and Josh just put it up on our YubTub if you are curious how an asymmetrical horror game might look on the table. First, I haven't actually had a chance to hang out with Gavin in an incredibly long time, so playing a game for a couple hours and making dumb jokes the whole time was a pretty good way to do it. Second, the game is legible enough to be understood but there's tough decisions throughout. That means you can "get it" right away and skip to the white-knuckle horror. It's just about to crack 600k on Kickstarter, so it's a sure thing.
It also got me back into watching Dead by Daylight streams, which is a pretty wild ride, because as far as I can tell this is one of the chillest, coziest communities on Twitch even though it's mostly about putting human beings on hooks.
(CW)TB out.
