I always have a good time working with my friend Kris Straub; we've been working for years to find a project to do together, and it happened sort of without us realizing it - with AcqInc: The "C" Team. I didn't realize that's what we had done at first, but we have three solid hours or so a week to make a story together now, we just do it in real time and he doesn't know a hundred percent of it. His entire character is an ironic OC Self-Insert called "K'thriss Drow'b" that he tucked into his intro videos for Acquisitions Incorporated, and - as is the way of these things - it became a truth. It's a thing. I have been in at least three bands that started as jokes.

I had mentioned on the Twitch thing that I like hobbies that have a lot of custom language, that is to say Jargon; most hobbies are like this, but some are more dense than others. Someone bellowing from the depths of Twitor, The Truncated Realm, suggested that my hobby is actually learning new words, and the particular genuflections of these hobbies are essentially just the rind.

Like any subterranean cloister, our people have tooled a lot of custom language to depict our mysteries. Jargon serves many purposes, as a shibboleth it excels, but it's also a form of linguistic compression that saves an incredible amount of time.

He gave one of my favorite PAX West kickoffs, though it might technically have been a PAX Prime kickoff back then. It was about how art forms either go mainstream are or annihilated, and it was a timely medicine. When I say Warren Spector, of course, I mean this Warren Spector. I've never had an interaction with him where I didn't feel smarter for it afterward, so we're glad to have him leading things off at PAX Dev. Pokémon GO is a game about seizing imaginary monsters. Pokémon GO Fest is, by many reports, a festival about not catching them.

I think there's only two storyboards left until Gabe is done with the expansion to Thornwatch, called The Dark Of The Wood, which is a name I like. He's going so hard on it that he's often writing placeholder text for things to guide himself through a specific artistic stage of production, and a lot of times it's… it's pretty good.

The dude who runs the corner store at the corner by my house has recently begun stocking Fidget Spinners. He says you can't not. He describes gangs of feral, foaming youths spilling in the door on the prowl for their next fix - and if he doesn't provide it, he says they'll just go down the street to the next guy. Or into the alley behind his shop, where Spinny K and BB convene their court out of sight of the police, and spinners are just the first step on a dark path.

Pyre is… listen. Gabe watched a video on IGN and there was a lot of text and he got mad. We made this strip after. He and I don't agree.

Like a baby chick, Gabriel has imprinted on the Switch somehow. The first party roster - a melange of extended re-releases, reimaginings of franchise pillars, sequels, and a game where your arms are violent Slinkies - has already claimed well over two hundred and fifty hours of playtime.

Thus concludes Part 3 of Dumber Camp, unless we uncover some new memory we've suppressed. He tells me this is a true story, and I don't doubt him at all. I don't think they even tried to send him to any more summer camps.

I have every faith that I've said something very much like if not identical to the last line in the strip. I could apologize, I guess, but I'm not 100% sure it isn't true.
